WyleyBoy We use jagdterriers here to hunt wild hogs with - they're about the size of jack russell terriers but with the lion hearts of ridgebacks! The hogs are very dangerous, yes, but hunting them with dogs is one of the safest ways to do so - a group of dogs will be enough to bay the hog and keep him from injuring an individual member of the pack. The hogs are getting to be a major pest on our ranch/farm and several around us!

Titan1 DG & P does Precious still have seizures? One of Momma's Rotties was epileptic from the time is was about a year old until he passed at the age of 10. Which is really good for a dog his size. So Momma knows the trauma all involved endure with seizures. God bless Precious!!!

Cayce She will be VERY careful of such things now, and in fact she posted on the other site about what happened to Oscar to alert moms and dads to the dangers. He healed up fine, but it had to be so traumatic for him!

WyleyBoy Word of warning - even if you wear your collar to a furiend's house or outside, make sure there aren't large tags and that the collar is loose enough to slip off if it gets caught! I hung my collar on a chain link fence (that I shouldn't have been jumping up against), and if it hadn't been loose, I would've choked! Be careful out there! :)

Tyler I'm not allowed on the bed either so I sleep on my bedroom bed or sometimes I go out in the living room and sleep on that bed. Since Mommy had her surgery though, I won't leave her side and Daddy has even scooted my bed closer to her side so I can stay near her and take care of her. :)

SashaBear So rumor has it that Grams new house will be moved onto the new property next Thursday and da concrete for the garage will be poured next week too. Then its just a matter of waiting for them to set the house up and do the final inspections then they can put our fence in and we can move! OMD we can't wait!!!!!!

Cayce This is Cayce's momma. I just took her long soft pillow, her cushion, her chew toy and her stuffed rabbit out of my Fit, which is being traded in at the Kia dealer tomorrow for a brand new Soul, which will be Cayce's car, and which I will dutifully pilot, haaaaaaaaaaa!!! It was so strange taking her things out along with my personal effects from the glove box. I have lost many dogs to the Rainbow Bridge in my years as a dog mom, and removing Cayce's paraphenalia gave me an eery feeling as though I were losing her, which I am NOT! I started getting tears in my eyes and had to remind myself, "You're just switching cars... you're not giving up you furkid!!!" I'm sure I'll feel better after I put Cayces stuff in the new car and get IT all set up for her like this one was. And you better believe I took my Dog Mom magnetic sticker and the "Bark less, wag more!" one off of there to affix to the new Soul as well...!
